Delaware Casinos New Deal

DOVER — New gambling machines could be coming to Delaware casinos in the fall. The state lottery office is soliciting bids from companies to provide multi-player machines offering electronic versions of games such as poker or blackjack.
Unlike the traditional card games legal in places such as Atlantic City and Las Vegas, but not Delaware, the players would rely totally on luck. Just like with slot machines, players would make bets and the results of the hand would be random.
A state law passed last year authorized the new machines, and the state lottery office is upgrading the computer system it uses to monitor machines to handle the multi-player versions.(newszap.com)
